Enthymesis

A return to the authentic wisdom of Greek Traditional Healing, where body, energy, and nature exist as one living system.Inspired by the principles of elemental balance and the body’s natural intelligence, we create personalized rituals that go beyond relaxation — offering a deeper restoration on a physical, energetic, and emotional level.

Every touch, every rhythm, every experience is designed with intention: to restore the natural flow of energy, to rebalance the body’s internal harmony, and to reconnect each individual with their true essence.

Enthymesis is not just a spa.
It is a living philosophy of healing —an experience that reminds the body how to return to balance.

Meet the Founder

Argyro Gerochristou, founder of Enthymesis Wellness and creator of the Greek Traditional Therapeutic Method, has devoted her life and work to reconnecting modern wellness with the authentic healing philosophy of Greece.

She began her studies in 1997 at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, in the Department of Aesthetics and Health Sciences. She later expanded her knowledge through studies in cosmology, naturopathy, and Yunani Medicine. Through years of education and extensive travels around the world, she explored diverse healing systems and philosophies, seeking a deeper understanding of the connection between body, energy, and nature.

An important milestone in her journey was her engagement with the work “The Canon of Medicine” by Avicenna, contributing to the revival and reinterpretation of traditional medical knowledge through a contemporary lens.

Through this synthesis of knowledge and experience, she developed her own holistic method, combining Hippocratic philosophy, naturopathy, and therapeutic massage techniques, aiming to restore balance and activate the body’s natural self-healing mechanisms.

With this vision, Enthymesis Wellness was created — a concept dedicated to reintroducing authentic Greek Traditional Therapeutics into the modern spa environment, with the goal of establishing a distinct and meaningful identity for Greek wellness.

SOLARA SPA

In the summer of 2004 she returned to Greece, on the island of Corfu to set up the Solara Spa, a centre for bioenergetic aesthetic treatments and alternative therapies.

While preparing to open the centre she traveled to the state of Florida in America where she was trained at Upledger Institute in Sacrocranial therapy Level 1 and to Athens where she studied:

  • Thai massage at the N.H.S centre.
  • Tuina seminar
  • Usui Reiki

In parallel she was trained by the company Piroche in bioenergetic aesthetics and electro-acupuncture which she adopted completely as a system of applying beauty treatments at Solara Spa. She completed the first level of Reconnection, American David Pearl’s innovative new method of therapy.

Two years later, she was initiated into the Satyananda school of Yoga and noticed the positive changes and the transformations which Satyananda Yoga induces holistically in people. For that reason, after having visited Satyananda Ashram in Athens not only in order to attend various seminars but also to be educated in yogic lifestyle, she decided in 2009 to apply for a Satyananda Yoga teacher training course. Her application was accepted and she successfully completed the course.

NATUROPATHIC TREATMENT

In the same year she created the Solara Studio for Yoga and alternative therapies and simultaneously began her studies in Naturopathic Nutrition at the NeoIpokratio School of Cyprus which works in collaboration with the College of Naturopathy in London.

In 2014 she completed her studies in Naturopathic Medicine and since then she has systematically been teaching therapeutic yoga in combination with the practice of various alternative therapies and the practice of Naturopathic Medicine.

Working as a SPA Manager on her beloved island, Corfu, she noticed that more and more people pursue effective massage techniques. Thus, she decided to continue studying in this field and set Enthymesis up, the first centre that focuses on an alternative healthcare approach using different techniques of treatment.
